Farmhouse Cornbread

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (tea) oil
- 1 can of green corn
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1 cup (tea) of water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup (tea) corn flour
- 2 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour (approximately)
- Margarine and wheat flour for greasing
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
Preparation method:
- Blend the oil, corn with water, yeast, sugar, salt, water and eggs in a blender.
- Pour it into a bowl, add the corn flour and wheat flour, a little at a time, kneading until it no longer sticks to your hands. If necessary, add more flour.
- Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll out the dough with a rolling pin and roll it up like Swiss rolls.
- Arrange, side by side, in a large greased and floured baking pan.
- Cover and let rise for another 40 minutes.
- Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until cooked through and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
