Steak in mushroom sauce

Ingredients:
- 6 rump steaks
- Salt, black pepper and grated nutmeg to taste
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) milk
- 1/2 cup cream (tea).
- 150g sliced mushrooms
- 150 g grated parmesan cheese
Preparation method:
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large nonstick pan over high heat with the olive oil and half the butter.
- Fry the steaks until golden brown.
- Remove, place in a refractory and set aside.
- Return the same pan to medium heat with the remaining butter and quickly fry the garlic.
- Add flour and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the milk a little at a time, stirring until it thickens.
- Add the cream, mushrooms, season with salt and nutmeg and cook for 2 minutes.
- Spread over the steaks in the baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Place in a preheated high oven (200ºC) for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove and serve.
