Steak with mustard sauce

Ingredients:
- 6 not very thin rump steaks (about 1kg)
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 5 tablespoons of mustard
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup (tea) water
- 2 boxes of cream
- Chopped green chilli for dusting
Preparation method:
- Season the steaks with garlic, salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over high heat and fry steaks for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove, place in a refractory and set aside.
- In the same pan, over medium heat, melt the butter, quickly brown the onion, add the mustard, salt, water and bring to the boil.
- Turn off the heat and add the cream.
- Cover the steaks with the sauce and sprinkle with green pepper. If you prefer, serve the steak with mustard sauce accompanied by potato sticks and white rice.
