Ingredients:

  • 7 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 glass of coconut milk (200 ml)
  • 1 cup (tea) grated coconut
  • 3/4 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup chopped prunes
  • Oil for anointing

Syrup:

  • 1/3 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water
  • 1/2 cup (tea) corn glucose
  • 1 cup of dried plums

Preparation method:

  1. In a pan, dissolve the cornstarch in the milk, add the condensed milk, coconut milk, grated coconut and sugar and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  2. Remove from the heat and then add the plums.
  3. Pour into a greased 24cm diameter mould with a central hole and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
  4. Meanwhile, for the syrup, in a pan over medium heat, cook the sugar, water and glucose for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the plum and cook for another 3 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
  7. Unmold the dish, pour the syrup over it and serve immediately.
