Last Thursday, the 17th, the stylist Eloisa Faria held its long-awaited show at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. Filled with the history and culture of São Paulo and in collaboration with Recco, the parade could only be a simple tribute to all the people who live in the busiest city in South America.
Focusing on tradition and memory, the “Revela Kimera” collection innovated by featuring handmade pieces using different forms of crochet stitched onto flat fabrics. The collection, divided into three acts, also featured perforated looks and mixes of fabrics.
Fascinating details
In parts of Eloise, Small details added charm to the models’ movements, as the designer incorporated “doll” socks and different types of ribbons, accentuating the shaped cuts of her garments. One of the main highlights were the small ceramic pieces that featured the clothing. Made by craftsman Andrea, from the municipality of Apiaí (SP)the pieces brought a playful charm and helped pay homage to all the municipalities of the great metropolis.
The catwalk was also the most vivid mirror of his childhood. Eloise, as numerous references to his youth – and, of course, in the creation process – were made in the pieces. The designer searched in her memories for a way to convey in style the most important phases and details of her childhood and growth, which accompanied the growth of the big city.
