Corn sticks

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cans green corn
- 1 cup milk (tea)
- 1 cup (tea) water
- 2 vegetable bouillon cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1/2 cup (tea) cornmeal
- Margarine for greasing
- Wheat flour for breading
- 2 eggs beaten for breading
- Breadcrumbs for breading
- Frying oil
Filling:
- 2 cups grated mozzarella
- 1/2 can drained green corn
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Preparation method:
- Blend the corn with the canned water and milk in a blender until smooth.
- Pour the water, vegetable broth and butter into a large skillet over medium heat.
- Bring to the boil and add the flour and cornstarch all at once, stirring vigorously until it comes away from the bottom of the pan.
- Pour onto a greased surface and stir with a spatula until hot.
- Knead for 5 minutes or until the dough is smooth and soft. Let it cool.
- For the filling, in a bowl, mix the cheese, corn and oregano.
- Open a small portion of dough in the palm of your hand, add the filling and close it with a toothpick.
- Dip them in wheat flour, eggs and breadcrumbs.
- Fry, little by little, in boiling oil until golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve.
