Yes. After the law was changed in March last year, a woman can actually undergo a tubal ligation without her partner’s permission and even immediately after giving birth.
Previously it was necessary to obtain the partner’s authorization and wait at least 60 days after giving birth.

Other changes to the law concern the minimum age for tubal ligation, which has dropped from 25 to 21 years. Women who have no children and are under the age of 21 can also undergo the procedure, as long as they have at least two living children.
This change also applies to men who want to have a vasectomy.
