To ensure your meat is cooked perfectly when cooked in a deep fryer, here are some final tips:
PREPARATION:
BBQ with Garlic Butter – Meat Preparation:
- If necessary, clean the meat, keeping the fat layer.
- Season the meat with coarse salt or refined salt to taste.
- Place the meat in the Airfryer basket with the fat side facing up and place it in the drawer.
- Insert the drawer into the appliance preheated to 200ºC.
- Roast the meat for 5 minutes for initial sealing.
Preparing the garlic butter:
- While the meat is in the Airfryer, place the bowl with the butter and garlic in the microwave for 1 minute, or long enough for the butter to melt and the garlic cloves to lightly cook.
- Remove from the microwave, add the parsley and mix. Reserve the garlic butter for the final application.
Barbecue Airfryer with Garlic Butter:
- Remove the drawer after the first 5 minutes, turn the meat, put it back in the Airfryer and cook for another 5 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, open the drawer and arrange the meat on a cutting board.
- Let the meat rest for 2 or 3 minutes before slicing it. This short rest helps stabilize the juices before cutting, ensuring each slice retains more moisture and flavor.
- Cut thick slices (2 cm) keeping in mind that the meat is not yet completely cooked.
- Place the slices back in the basket and season with more coarse or refined salt, if necessary.
- Using a pastry brush, spread all the garlic butter over the slices.
- Return to the Airfryer and continue at 200ºC depending on the desired doneness:
- Medium rare: Finish time: Cook the slices for 3 to 4 minutes
- To the point: Final time: Cook the slices for 5 minutes.
- Well done: Finish time: Cook the slices for 7-8 minutes.
- Note: The above times may vary depending on the power of the equipment and the thickness of the slices.
- Check the meat to reach the desired doneness – Remember that it will continue to cook in its residual heat after leaving the Airfryer.
- Remove the meat from the Airfryer slightly before desired doneness and let it rest for 3-5 minutes before serving. This final rest allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in juicy, flavorful barbecue.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve meat prepared in the Airfryer with garlic butter immediately after.
- Accompany the barbecue with farofa, potatoes, rice or other side dishes of your choice.
