B.C

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the utensils and ingredients for the recipe. 1 recipe = 2 servings yields 1 pan of bread (small).
  2. To make your gluten-free bread, use a suitable oat flour.
  3. Grease a small non-stick pan with a little coconut oil or another oil of your choice (the smaller it is, the taller your slice of bread will be).
  4. Place seeds (optional) in the bottom of the pan to decorate.

PREPARATION:

Pan-fried oat bread – Preparation of the dough:

  1. In a bowl mix the dry ingredients: gluten-free oat flour, sweet cassava flour and salt.
  2. Make a well in the center and add the egg and water (see quantities in the ingredients), mix until incorporated and obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
  3. Add the yeast, mix quickly and transfer to the pan.

Pan-fried oat bread – Cooking:

  1. To bake bread it is important to place one rack on top of the other, so that it cooks slowly, without burning. Even so, the process is very quick.
  2. On the double grill of the stove, on the weakest flame, place the pan with the bread dough, cover and leave to cook over low heat for about 10/12 minutes.
  3. The bread will form a crust on the bottom, turn it over and let it cook for another 3 minutes, always covered.
  4. After cooking, remove the bread from the pan, place it on a wire rack (optional) and let it cool slightly.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve the pan-fried oat bread immediately cut it as you prefer (into triangles and/or open towards the core).
  2. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for later consumption.
  3. To be consumed after refrigerating/frozen, heat in the microwave or in a pan and moisten to restore the original consistency.
