The actor comments on the diagnosis and acceptance of treatment

The family celebrates his recovery
Lisa Lloyd, the actor’s mother, celebrated her son’s progress. “Jake is doing much better now. It’s a big relief for me and the rest of the family. We’re thrilled that he’s doing well and that he’s dedicating himself [ao tratamento]”he said.
He also revealed that there is a history of schizophrenia in the actor’s paternal family and denied that negative reviews for the film “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” contributed to Jake’s worsening mental health or his decision to abandon your career.
Hospitalization after psychotic crisis
Jake was hospitalized in March 2023 after suffering a psychotic break while driving. He was returning home with his mother when he turned off the car in the middle of a busy road, interrupting traffic in the middle lane.
