Physical activity, if not grueling, made without the use of steroids and with adequate food, is able to give benefits to fertilityWith greater possibilities that the individual conceives a child. “One of the great benefits of exercise than fertility is a better weight control. Obesity, in addition to promoting the emergence of diseases that can cause problems during pregnancy, has a direct influence on fertility”, says dr. Rodrigo Rosa, a specialist in human reproduction and in the clinical director of the Prime Mater Clinic, in San Paolo.
According to the doctor, body fat can compromise the quality of the sperm. “In men, excess body fat compromises the production of testosterone, which, in addition to reducing sexual appetite and causing erection difficulties, also interferes with the quality and quantity of sperm. In general, the greater the overweight, the greater the quality, the concentration and mobility of the sperm”, he adds.
Weight care is also important for women who want to get pregnant. “In women, the inappropriate weight interferes with the production of female sex hormones, in particular estrogen, which, consequently, hinders the ovulation process. And in this case, it is not only obesity, since excessively thin women, such as anorexia, also have a possibility of being pregnant and have a greater risk of entering menopause”, explains women, such as anorexia.

A series of mechanisms are involved in the anti-aging action provided by exercise. “Exercise increases the flow of blood to the skin, improving cellular function and, consequently, hydration. Collagene and elastin, responsible for firmness and elasticity, are also stimulated by physical activity,” says plastic surgeon Dr. Beatriz Lassance, member of the Brazilian society of plastic surgery (SBCP).
Also according to the doctor, the exercises have an anti -inflammatory action and reduce the production of free radicals, helping to fight the skin aging process. Another anti -anti -winning advantage of physical activity is the correct use of energy from the carbohydrate (sugar) that we consume.
“Excessive sugar consumption leads to an increase in oxidative stress and the glying of collagen, a process in which excess sugar is linked to the support fibers of the skin, accelerating the appearance of falling and wrinkles,” says the professional.
