Private hospitals in the San Paolo record increased hospitalizations for Dengue

The private hospitals of San Paolo have recorded an increase in hospitalizations for dense In recent weeks. Most cases involved patients from 30 to 50 years.



The rise was issued by the union of hospitals, clinics and laboratories of the State of San Paolo (Sindosp). The entity examined 97 private hospitals between March 25 and April 7 and 89% of them reported the increase.

In 76% of hospitals, shelters in intensive care increased to 5%. In 79%, the average hospitalization time in intensive care units varied from 5 to 10 days.

In hospitalizations in clinical beds, 44% of hospitals increased up to 5% and 35% increase between 6% and 10%. The average time of clinical hospitalization, in 80% of the institutions, varied from 5 to 10 days.
