As Trump wants to change the Coca-Cola recipe in the United States

Coca-Cola said: ‘Thanks to the enthusiasm of President Trump, without confirming that he intends to make adaptation.

The president of the United States Donald Trump said that Coca-Cola agreed to use sugar cane sugar to sweeten their drinks sold in the United States.

Coca-Cola currently uses corn syrup on its American products, but the health secretary of Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has expressed concern about the impacts of ingredient in health.

“I spoke with Coca-Cola of the use of sugar cane sugar in the coca in the United States and agreed to do so,” Trump wrote on social networks. “I would like to thank everyone in a position of authority in Coca-Cola.”

Without explicitly confirming the adaptation of the recipe, a Coca-Cola spokesman said he had “thanked the enthusiasm of President Trump” than “more details on the new innovative offers on our Coca-Cola product line will soon be shared”.

Trump said in a post Wednesday (16/07) on the social platform of truth: “It will be a good initiative of them, you will see. It’s only better!”

While the Coca-Cola sold in the United States is usually softened with corn syrup, coca-Cola in other countries, such as Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia and Brazil, tends to use sugar cane sugar.

In April, the Coca-Cola Cio James Quincey told investors that “we continue to advance the reduction of sugar in our drinks”.

He said that the company based on Atlanta “did this by changing revenues, as well as using our global marketing and distribution network resources to increase awareness and interest in our constant expansion portfolio”.

But any decision to use sugar cane sugar instead of corn syrup can leave a bitter taste for us corn farmers.

John Bode, president and CEO Corn Refiners Association, said in a declaration: “The replacement of the fruits of sugar high sugar corn would cost thousands of US foods in food production, would reduce agricultural income and would increase foreign sugar imports, all without nutritional benefits”.

The Secretary of Health of the United States and its movement Make America again healthy (“Rendi America Healthy Again” claimed that companies remove their ingredients as a corn syrup, seed oils and artificial dyes, associating them with a series of health problems.

Kennedy Jr. has also criticized the amount of sugar that Americans consume and, according to reports, soon requires the updating of the national food guidelines.

Trump regularly takes Diet Coke – who uses the artificial aspartame sweetener. He even had a button on his table in the oval room of the White House to ask the service of the soda.
