The declaration was made during an interview for the male style magazine “Esquire Uk”which will be published next Friday, where it will be covered. In the chat, the American director Paul Thomas Anderson, 55, asked the actor what he would have replied if someone had asked him for his age and should answer “as soon as possible”, generating the answer.
Dicaprio, who has a birthday in November, reflected that the arrival of the “golden years” was a natural moment “for reflection”. “You have the feeling of being more honest and not to waste time. I can only imagine how the next decades progress,” he explained.
“I look at my mother, for example, and she says exactly what she thinks and does not waste time. It does not waste time trying to pretend. Being simpler and risking things that collapse, misunderstandings or separate from any type of relationship in life, personal and professional, simply does not want to waste time. It is almost a responsibility because it has been much further back,” said the actor.
Currently, DiCaprio comes out with the Italian Vittoria Ceratti model, 26 years old. The couple was together from August 2023 after a series of disputes that the actor does not leave from women over 25 years.
