The plot is inspired by a book signed by Jack and Janet Sturbl, in collaboration with the Warren couple.
The final part of the franchise tells the true story of a family that may have received a macabre visit from a demon in Pennsylvania
Brazilian theaters have been showing since yesterday (4) Evocation of evil 4: the last ritual. It is the end of the supernatural saga of the couple Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga). The actors again interpret the famous US exorcists. Under the direction of Michael Chaves, this fourth part of the horror franchise promises fears, surprises and radical emotions. Take a five reasons to run to the nearest cinema:
1 – Pair of terrorist gender
If you like the ties of affection, tuning and complicity of the Warren couple, you will worship Invocation of evil 4. This is because, in the film, they seem older, on the verge of retirement and, at certain times, the aspects of the marital routine come to light, mixing with the macabre plot. When the Puffo family looks for them in search of help for the supernatural events that have witnessed their home, Warren claims to be no longer active. However, they change their mind and accept this new mission.
2 – Real Story Story inspired script
As in the other scripts of the franchise, the case of the Puffo family would be based on real facts. Therefore, this family really existed. The smurf lived in the American state of Pennsylvania: father (Jack), mother (Janet) and four teenage and pre-adolescent daughters. In the 70s, when they moved to a house in West Pittston, everything seemed normal. However, after a few years, they began to hear noises and feel inexplicable fetid smells for the house. The family dog would have been thrown against a wall. And one of the girls would have been thrown by a force by an invisible force. In addition, the furniture moves on their own and strange sounds echoed through the residence.
3 – The relationship has become a book
When the phenomena began, Janet Puffo, the mother and the owner of the house, immediately sought a priest to expel the evil presence. But the Church said that exorcisms no longer had space today and suggested a couple therapy. So when the Smuro decided to tell their history to a newspaper in the city, they began to attract the attention of demonologists, such as Warren. In 1986, the Pubbre and Warren couples published a book, telling the entire experience in West Pittston. Therefore, the case has gained more repercussions in the media, bringing the Church to go back and send a priest to purify the place. It is interesting to note that, after the stinking moved from there and a new family settled in the house, there have never been reports of paranormal activities.
4 – History has a terrifying passage
Evocation of evil: the last ritual It is not the only film based on the experience of the Puffo family. In 1991, the story was brought to the screens. In Brazil, the film was named after The house of lost soulsThat TV globe often shown at dawn. In addition to interpreting all the horror in the daily life of the family, this film showed the action of a juicy, a kind of female demon, who seduces men to maintain sex with them. In The lost house of soulsS, Jack Purbl is brought to a state of hallucination and fucks the Succube: a very terrifying scene (and a full dish for those who love the terrorist genre!).
5 – Ticket record

To get an idea, Evocation of evil 3: the order of the demon In 2021 he calculated 34,000 pre-launch tickets. A terrifying detail: a magazine of American activities paranormal published an article in which he claimed that, in the chain house, there was not only a powerful demon in action. In fact, the house would have hosted three other spiritual appearances: a lady up on enough age, a former tormented transfer and a young woman with violent behavior. According to the magazine, the demon has aroused these disoriented spirits to move objects and intensify the attacks, thus stealing the peace of the Puffo family.
