DJ and Bárbara Falcão shared their versions of events on their respective social media profiles
After the singer and former Faustão dancer Bárbara Falcão published a video in which she denounced her ex-husband, the music producer Dennis DJ, for physical, psychological, patrimonial and sexual violence, he too decided to make his version of the facts public. In a video published on Thursday 9th, Dennis stated that he had always been the target of threats and blackmail which, according to them, would have destroyed his career.

Bárbara said she suffers from the loss of custody of her six-year-old son, which is the result of her 14-year relationship with the artist. Dennis said that since the couple’s separation they have experienced a shared custody dynamic.
“From April to today, things have changed, due to a judge’s decision following events that occurred, which I cannot describe due to judicial secrecy. I have been in custody for almost seven months and Bárbara has visiting days”, declared the artist.
In April this year, Dennis was granted unilateral custody of the child by decision of the 1st Family Court of Barra da Tijuca, based on an opinion from the Federal Public Ministry (MPF).
As for the domestic violence allegations, he said this isn’t anything new. “In 2022, before our mediation, where the judge of the court against violence against women, at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, closed the case due to lack of evidence. She came back again with this story to expose me and get something, since she was unable to reverse the custody issue of our son,” she said.
Regarding the division of assets, Dennis said that the couple’s assets were divided amicably, accompanied by the parties’ lawyers and with a mediation team composed only of women.
“I always knew that I was at risk, I was always threatened, blackmailed, they said that they would end my career. But between my career and my son, I prefer my son. I would like to point out that my son sees his mother, yes, on the dates established by the judge, who gave a precautionary measure. I don’t have this power. If the judge gave it it is because there is a reason. So, on the agreed dates, she saw her, yes, son”, concluded the DJ.

Bárbara Falcão published a video on her Instagram profile in which she denounces the music producer, stating that she has suffered the loss of custody of her six-year-old son. “Everything was taken away from me when my motherhood was taken away from me,” she said.
“Where marriage ends, parenting does not end. A child is not a bargaining chip,” Bárbara said in the video. His house was inspected by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro on the morning of last Wednesday 8th. According to her, the complaint was made by the artist.
