Stop motion

Director Gonzalo Cordova, creator of the series “Women with Shoulder Pads”, and animators Roy and Arturo Ambriz, from the Mexican studio Cinema Fantasma, have revealed some secrets behind the development of the production and tell how animations are usually made in stop motion.

The character puppets were made using 3D printers and the costumes with designs produced by Cordova’s mother, used as a basis by Cinema Fantasma to create the costumes.
