- 6 large eggs (separate egg whites and yolks)
- 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
- 5 cups of milk (tea)
- 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Method of preparation:
First, beat the egg whites. Then, in a large pot, heat 4 cups of milk with a tablespoon of sugar until it comes to a boil. Then, put the egg whites into the milk in spoon-sized portions. And let it cook for 3 minutes per side. Remove the egg whites from the pan and let them drain in a large colander. Finally, drain the milk and set aside.
In the mixer, beat the egg yolks with the rest of the sugar. Then, add the remaining cup of cold milk and cornstarch. Stir the milk in the reserved pan, add the vanilla and put back on low heat until the cream thickens. Distribute the drained egg whites in a bowl and pour the cream over them. Finally, refrigerate for about 2 hours before serving.
