Ingredients for the lemon mousse
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1/2 can of lemon juice (use the empty condensed milk can to measure)
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 can of sour cream (300 g)
- 1 cup meringue (pre-purchased)
- Zest of 1 lemon for sprinkling
Method of preparation
In a bowl, mix the condensed milk with the lemon juice and store in the refrigerator. Then beat the egg whites until stiff and add the sugar, a little at a time.
In the bowl of condensed milk with lemon juice, add the can of cream, egg whites and mix gently, until smooth.
Pour the mousse into a refractory and refrigerate for 4 hours. Finally, just before serving, cover with the meringue (you can buy it ready-made) and sprinkle with the zest of 1 lemon.
