Food
Do you know when we are traveling for a long time and you get that motion sickness? This can also happen to animals! So the tip is feed them only four hours before boarding. After that, the ideal is not to eat. But arriving on the spot, you already offer food, okay?
Pee and poop also travel
Well … Even during the journey, the animal will have to go about its business! So, there’s no way around it – you have to keep your eyes peeled. However, to make it easier, it is worth betting on a few stops, if the route is by car, or, later, lining the transport box or seat with hygienic mats. Also remember to have a plastic bag handy to catch poop.
Documentation for traveling with pets
Did you think only humans had the documentation? Neither! some establishments friendly puppy may require a document of the animal, so include in your luggage the RGA (Geral do Animal Register), which you can request at the town hall of the city where you live, if the service is available, and also the vaccination card – important to prove that the animal is protected from major diseases.
By plane, the cure is greater
Before your friend takes off, how about checking out some Brazilian Airlines Association (ABEAR) rules? This includes taking a health certificate issued by the veterinarianthe pet ticket and the transport crate (compulsory in each compartment of the plane).
