Time: 1h (+50min rest)

Ingredients:
- 800 g of wheat flour (approximately)
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 4 tablets of fresh brewer’s yeast (60g)
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of margarine
- 1 tablespoon of flour improver
- 1 egg
- 2 cups ice cold water (approximately)
- Margarine and wheat flour for greasing and flouring
- Cold water to sprinkle
Method of preparation:
- To start, mix the flour, salt, sugar, improver and crumbled yeast.
- Add the margarine, the egg and mix with your hands.
- Then add the water, a little at a time, mixing until a homogeneous and soft mass is formed.
- If necessary, add more flour.
- Knead for 10 minutes.
- Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape into loaves.
- Place in a greased and floured pan, cover and leave to rest for another 40 minutes.
- With a sharp knife, make light scratches on the buns lengthwise.
- Drizzle with cold water and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Leave to cool and serve with butter, if desired.
