This year will be intense and very nostalgic: Barbie, The Little Mermaid, Super Mario Bros and Trolls are some of the launches of the coming months
In 2023 we will relive another Disney classic on the big screen! The long-awaited live-action The little Mermaid hits theaters May 26. Who takes on the interpretation of Ariel is the singer and actress Halle Bailey, owner of a melodic voice like the siren itself.
The film is directed by Rob Marshall, who co-directed hits such as Pirates of the Caribbean. In addition to the beloved songs, four new songs will be presented, composed by Alan Menken and the man responsible for the soundtrack of Charm, Lin-Manuel Miranda. Watch the trailer!
But it’s not just the live-action Ariel that promises to steal the show! the feature Barbie premieres July 20 in theaters, and it will be the first time the famous doll has participated in a production for the big screen. Super Mario Bros. The Movie is another bet for this year. The animation is produced in collaboration with the brand nintendo and will be released on March 30th.
