Brazilian singer Ludmilla has hit out at online gossip accounts and announced legal action following the leak of private audio messages from her fan group.
The 31-year-old artist posted a series of statements on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday, accusing social media pages of deliberately editing her words out of context.
The leaked voice recordings originated from a private group that the singer maintains with her followers on a messaging application. In the audio, the Rio de Janeiro native spoke candidly about feeling distant from her supporters, shared updates on her forthcoming music album, and revealed details regarding her new project titled Fragmentos.
Ludmilla expressed anger at the breach of privacy, explaining that the group was created for serious discussions about the closing stage of Fragmentos. She accused gossip accounts of infiltrating the fan club, cutting audio clips, and removing them from their proper context.
Dancer departure and online claims
In a separate post, the performer rejected online claims linking her remarks to the recent departure of a dancer from her team.
She stated that she had endured years of disrespect from certain Twitter accounts, having previously overlooked mistreatment in the hope that commentators would begin respecting her as a human being. That patience, she explained, had now come to an end.
Ludmilla declared that she will now maintain zero tolerance toward fake news and fabricated quotes being attributed to her. She insisted that she has reached her limit after years of tolerating unfair treatment from gossip profiles.
Lawyers and legal action
She stated that she will no longer argue, provide explanations, or ask for respect online, confirming that her lawyers will handle all matters through the legal system from now on.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Ludmilla is one of Brazil's most prominent pop and funk music stars.
