Warning – The following article contains spoilers for “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” as it discusses the content of its second post-credits scene. Please continue if you haven’t seen it yet.
It’s a tradition: Every Marvel movie has post-credits scenes that most often disrupt the sequence of events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which hits theaters this Wednesday and will open Phase V of the MCU, there are two. One that we discover after the opening credits and the other is located at the end of the film. It is the latter that we are encoding here.
What does the scene contain?
After the credits roll for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the audience is treated to one hell of a time jump, as we are transported back to the early 20th century in the theater’s surroundings. On stage, we find Jonathan Majors in the skin of a variant of Kang, revealing his concept of time to the public.
That’s when we discover the presence of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) in the audience. The former seems horrified to see the one in full performance, and it doesn’t take long for the latter to confirm that it is indeed “the one” and that he is a particularly powerful individual.
What should we remember?
This post-credits scene shows a new variant of Kang named Victor Timely, one of the character’s identities in the comics. He will most likely be found in the credits of Loki Season 2, which is scheduled to air this year. The Loki series, which thus continues to connect with this famous Kang in many guises, a variant of He Who Remains (photo below) appeared at the end of the first season.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, currently in theaters, sees Paul Rudd return to the Marvel superhero costume, always alongside Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne / The Wasp), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne). Not the least of the newcomers: Jonathan Majors, who slips into the shoes of the big bad Kang Conqueror.
