Streaming service Apple TV + presented the first trailer of the film “Tetris”, which tells the story of the creation of the cult game. The premiere of the tape with Russian actor Nikita Efremov and the star of the franchise “Kingsman” Taron Egerton will take place at the SXSW film festival in the USA. The preview will run from 10 to 19 March 2023. The picture will appear on the platform on March 31.

Nikita Efremov appeared as the creator of the puzzle, Alexei Pajitnov. The film tells how Pajitnov and the head of the American company Blue Planet Software, Hank Rogers, fought for the right to distribute Tetris. Rogers was played by Edgerton in the film. According to the plot, his hero, impressed by the “perfect game”, goes to the USSR in the mid-80s, where he attracts the attention of the KGB.

In the USSR, Rogers is in for quite dangerous adventures. He faces the criminal world and is under the constant supervision of intelligence agents. Among the heroes of the film is even the President of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev. In the trailer, you can see another famous person – the head of the Japanese company Nintendo Hiroshi Yamauchi. Among others, Rogers tells him about the amazing invention of Pajitnov. Matthew Vaughn produced. Filming took place in Glasgow, Scotland, which the artists decorated to look like the Soviet Union in the mid-1980s.

Earlier, work began on the second season of the series “Offline” with Efremov Jr. in the title role. The sequel to Kirill Pletnev’s detective thriller about the brilliant hacker Rust will be released in the Okko online cinema this year.
