If we’re to believe a rumor specifically reported by ScreenRant , Robert Pattinson is set to don the Batman costume again in the upcoming series The Penguin , which Matt Reeves is developing for HBO Max.
It was Matt Reeves who rebooted the Batman franchise in 2022 with the English actor in the shoes of the Dark Knight. Despite not being an origin story, Batman followed Bruce Wayne in his second year as a crime fighter.
However, Reeves is still early days in the Batman universe, working on several production projects. One of them is The Penguin, a series in which Colin Farrell will reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin. The DC show, executive produced by Matt Reeves, is set to air on HBO Max sometime in 2024.
Since The Penguin has been linked to the Batman franchise, the question of whether or not Bruce Wayne will appear on the show has been raised for some time. Now it looks like Robert Pattinson could really make a great appearance there.
During a recent episode of The Hot Mic podcast, journalist and noted leaker Jeff Snyder revealed that he had heard that Batman would be on the show. “It is said that Pattinson will appear in the series “Penguin”.“, he simply announced. However, currently neither Warner Bros. Neither the network nor HBO Max nor anyone involved in the production of the show has confirmed these remarks.

If this turns out to be true, and given that the first season of Penguin will have six episodes, only time will tell if Robert Pattinson will only be scheduled for one or more episodes. So far, very little information has been revealed about the series beyond casting news and plot details are scant. According to Colin Farrell, it will take place just one week after the events of Batman. To be continued.
While waiting for the series to be discovered, the film should be considered streaming on MyCanal.
