I did not sign a specific number. For AlloCiné, Cara Delevingne, who plays Vignette, sheds further light on this decision: “We put so much effort into this second season that we knew it would be our last..”
“It makes sense to end this story”, he continues. The same feeling on the part of his partner, Orlando Bloom. “Carnival Row is not based on books, just ideas and thoughts“, he elaborates. Erik Oleson (showrunner, editor’s note) and his team wanted to deliver an epic and phenomenal finale that I’m very proud of.”
He adds: “This type of show can go on and then people will say, “Well, it was good until Season 2 and they’re lost.” I like the idea of putting aside the noise and doing everything we can to deliver the best version of this program. and fills me with satisfaction.”
