In the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana, Independiente Del Valle (EQU) asserted the “home factor” and beat Flamengo 1-0, this Tuesday, at the Banco Guayaquil stadium in Quito. The Ecuadorian team was in control of the match against an opponent who was unable to play good football. The only goal of the match was by Carabajal, from a corner kick, already in the final stage.
The clubs decide the Recopa on Tuesday 28 in Rio de Janeiro. Del Valle will play with the advantage of a draw at the Maracanã, which will receive a large crowd. All tickets have already been sold. To win the title in regular time, Flamengo will need to win by two goals.
DEL VALLE IN CONTROL OF THE GAME

In the corner, he appeared alone between defenders Fabrício Bruno and David Luiz to open the scoring in the 23rd minute. Santos, who had saved Sornoza’s free-kick a few minutes earlier, was unable to save the defender’s header on the ground.
FLAMINGO INEFFECTIVE UNTIL THE END
The advantage on the draw hasn’t changed Del Valle’s posture at all, nor that of Flamengo. Vítor Pereira tried with inputs from Everton Cebolinha and Matheus Gonçalves, already in the final minutes, but Rubro-Negro failed to produce anything. Del Valle, in turn, continues with the ball, but the opportunities are rare. Not even the sending off of Ortiz, at 43, changed the landscape of the match.
