Liam Neeson was one of the actors quoted to live the secret agent in the 1990s, before Pierce Brosnan accepted the role.
After being successful with Schindler’s List (1993), Liam Neeson was even considered to play the spy James Bondalso known as 007, at the movies. However, due to a request made by Natasha Richardsongirlfriend at the time, the star turned down the opportunity.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone USA, neeson revealed that the production company of the secret agent film franchise, Barbara Broccolicontacted him several times in the 1990s to ask if he was interested in taking on the role, but natasha imposed an important condition on the actor, which made him give up.

The two were married in 1994 and stayed together until 2009, when natasha died after a skiing accident in Quebec, Canada.
