‘I’ve been worrying about him all day’: Sarah Mortensen says backstage at L’Abime finale

On Wednesday, February 22, from 21:10, France 2 continues and ends its broadcast of L’Abime. In this exciting series that combines irony and twists, Sarah Mortensen and Gil Alma play Elsa and Laurent, a married couple who lead a seemingly perfect life with their teenage daughter.

The tense finale of “The Gap”.

One day, unfortunately, the family’s everyday life changes when Elsa mysteriously disappears while jogging. Haunted by a past he hoped to leave behind forever, he and his loved ones find themselves on the hunt and in great danger…

After confessing all her secrets to Laurent, Elsa sees her lost relatives again and is then caught by the police. Except when he’s leading the police into a convoy, our hero then begins to feign seizures!

For AlloCiné, Sarah Mortensen also returned to the uncomfortable behind-the-scenes filming of this scene, asking L’Abime props to double her wits!

Mousse and lemonade on the set

The Astrid and Raphael star (who we met in Season 4) recalled: “I had to cramp and get tired which is pretty disgusting! (Laughs) The prop found Italian lemonade: these are mini sparkling pieces that you put in water and you go “Pshit”. It bubbles, tastes like lemon and makes lemonade.”

Sarah Mortensen continued this self-deprecating anecdote: “I put these pellets in my mouth and kept them there long enough to foam. He explains. Many times I thought I was going to choke because of course it wouldn’t come out of my mouth! I was worried about him all day. At one point I spit it out and then wiped my mouth… it was delicious! (laughs)”

Clearly far from relaxing, the filming of L’Abime also put the actor and Gil Alma in dangerous situations, but also took place in sometimes extreme conditions… However, Sarah Mortensen confirms this: she would have recovered immediately. Season 2!
