Ryan Reynolds stars in boy band comedy

Though he’s preparing to reprise his role as Deadpool, filming numerous commercials for the companies he owns and watching Wrexham play football, Ryan Reynolds is still busy developing other films. He’s put together a new play called group of boys at Paramount.

Second the Hollywood reporterReynolds is attached to star in and produce the project, which he also co-wrote with Earl, me and the dying girlI’m Jesse Andrews. Reynolds came up with the concept, which is being kept under wraps for now, but would center around a band of kids getting together.

Director/Producer Shawn Levy, who later became a frequent Reynolds collaborator free boy, The Adam Project AND Deadpool 3principal photography is set to begin in London this spring.

Levy may end up directing group of boysbut that will depend more on his schedule, which will be busy for Deadpool for now.

Either way, there will be fierce competition from one of the most underrated comedies around: Pride. Pop star: never stop, never stop.
