Axel learns the truth about his origins

Rose brings together all the chefs invited to the Festival du Goût in the atelier to explain how the event will unfold. Each chef will host a day at the atelier where the public can come and watch them cook with the other and ask questions. Each chef will work on a special dish, which will be rejected in an assortment of sweet and savory creations. Rose adds that he has invited regional press and several influencers. Then he moves the stakes to give each chef a day: Teissier opens the ball on Wednesday, followed by Cardon on Thursday, then Armand on Friday. Finally, the final two chefs will be drawn for Monday and Tuesday of the following week.

Meanwhile, Axel tells Jasmine and Ethan that he is ready to take a DNA test. He bought the kit on purpose. Although Jasmine does not believe his theory, Axel imagines that Emmanuel and Constance did not want their third child to prioritize a career as a chef. Ethan finds this quite convincing. Therefore, Axel hopes to collect Emanuel’s saliva on a spoon during their joint work.

Axel finds Teyssier in the atelier to practice around the white truffle. Then they go to the studio to eat. But Axel is out and taking some criticism. He replies that he slept badly because he is wondering. Teissier suggests joining. He leaves her alone for an hour to practice preparing their plates. Axel takes the opportunity to extract Emmanuel’s DNA from his coffee cup, but is framed by Theo. Axel explains his theory to him, which he is determined to follow despite his cousin’s anger.

For her part, Annabelle suggests that Ethan take Axel’s place as the second Teissier should the latter ever show weakness. But Ethan instead goes out of his way to support his best friend, especially since he’s having family problems. Annabelle links the letter they found. Ethan admits that Axel might be Taysier’s son.

Meanwhile, Theo immediately warns his parents about Axel. The latter thank him for warning them and swear that Simon is indeed dead. Once alone, Constance and Emmanuel panic. The latter offers Axel to talk or falsify his DNA test results. But Constance suggests that instead of directing Philip and Lola to speak directly.

Emmanuelle, Constance, Philip and Lola meet Axel to talk. His uncle and aunt assure him that he is not Simon, while Lola and Philip reveal that he is not their biological child…

Theo wants to know the identity of the secret cook

At the Economat, Kelly questions Anais to find out how her discussion with Theo about the lunch boxes went. But Anais admits that she didn’t say anything because she saw that Theo was really into it. Therefore, he prefers to solve everything.

In Double A, Theo can’t get the mysterious cook out of his head. However, Judy encourages him to keep moving, especially since he still has no answer about the last lunchbox. But Theo is determined to find out who she is and thinks of a way to get her to reveal herself.

One hour before the service, Theo announces to his brigade, of which Kelia is a part, the menu change regarding the dessert. He appropriates Anais’s dessert—dark chocolate jelly, panna cotta with cardamom and mango coulis—as a personal creation. Judy immediately adopts her strategy.

At the end of the service, Kelly warns Anais, who finds Theo’s attitude too over the top, before realizing it’s a way to force him to reveal himself. If Anais is ready to talk to her this time, Kelly stops her and advises her to let things go as planned. Indeed, he saw how addicted Theo was. If he sees that his plan is not working as planned, he will definitely move. Anais admits that she is right.

Louie pushes Vic to outdo himself

Vicki approaches Louis at Institute Park to ask why he let him sit in 3rd year because he has no level at all. Louis replies that it’s a way to help him move forward.

The 3rd years in the class make fun of Vic and don’t give her a chance to escape, but the young girl doesn’t let herself be thrown off balance. Louis asks his students to reproduce a saddle of sheep in potato skins. A demanding recipe from which perfect performance is expected. Vicki promises her that she will do it, even if she doesn’t have all the necessary skills.

However, at the end of the lesson, Louis judges his plate first, and the verdict is clear: his outfit is bad and the dish is bad. She then has the other students taste her plate, who point out everything that is wrong, except for Hortense, who finds the positive points.

Now in his 3rd year, Louis appreciates this experience with Vic. The young girl admits that although it is difficult, receiving feedback from other students is very formative and gives her a real reason to fight. When Louis asks her to take part in the next day’s class to be assessed as another 3rd year, Vicky accepts the challenge.
