Moscow forces kill at least 1 civilian in attack
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday (27) that there are no conditions for the war in Ukraine to have a “peaceful development”.
According to Peskov, quoted by the Tass news agency, the decision allows the Russian military operation to continue in Ukrainian territory.
The Kremlin representative also described the sanctions imposed by the West on the country as “absurd” and that he intends to study the Chinese plan “very carefully” to try to resolve the conflict through negotiations.
The Russians have carried out a massive drone and missile attack on Khmelnytskyi, a city 320 kilometers west of Kiev. The offensive has left at least one civilian dead and four others injured, according to Ukrainian media.
The military administration of the Ukrainian capital, quoted by Ukrainska Pravda, said the nation shot down at least nine drones overnight in the airspace around Kiev.
The Russians have reportedly used Iranian-made Shahed unmanned aircraft. Strong explosions were also recorded in Kherson. .
