Actress Daisy Edgar-Jones (“A Place Far From Here”) and actor Jacob Elordi (“Euphoria”) will star in the period drama “On Swift Horses.”
Based on Shannon Pufahl’s book of the same name, the film will tell the story of Muriel (Edgar-Jones) and Lee (Will Poulter, “Dopesick”), a couple who try to rebuild their lives together after their return from South Korea War. .
However, a love triangle forms with the arrival of Lee’s brother Julius (Elordi), a charismatic gambler. And when Julius leaves for Las Vegas, Muriel embarks on her own secret adventure involving racehorse betting.
The cast also includes Diego Calva (“Babylon”) and Sasha Calle (“The Flash”). Bryce Kass (“Lizzie”) wrote the screenplay and Daniel Minahan (“Deadwood”) directs.
“On Swift Horses” has already started filming, but does not have a release date yet.
