TF1: This actor will play a descendant of Sherlock Holmes in the new series

Actress Lola Dewere (Astrid and Raphaela) is about to betray France Télévisions in a new project that seems to fit somewhere between HPI, Sherlock and Enola Holmes.

TF1 yesterday announced the start of filming on the series Mademoiselle Holmes, created in collaboration with Victoria Spinato (opposite), Laëtitia Kügler, which will revisit the legacy of Sherlock Holmes in a detective comedy mode with Lola Devaer and Tom Villa. Munk) in the main roles.

How can you imagine that 36-year-old Charlie, a smart and shy policeman who still lives with his grandfather (Daniel Prevost), could be a descendant of the famous Sherlock Holmes?! This is the starting point of this new fiction in six episodes, directed by Frédéric Berthe (Pour Sarah) and Francois Riekelink (Les Innocents) and produced by Marysol (Newen Studios).

However, one day Charlie Holmes is hit by a car and suddenly clicks. A listless and depressed Charlie suddenly bursts with energy. He ruins his life for the first time. His extraordinary intelligence and compassion make him both brilliant and unpredictable as a police officer.

Meeting Sam, who becomes his Watson, Charlie finally finds himself a cop, a woman… and a Holmes!

Along with Lola Duer and Tom Villa, who are apparently playing Charlie and Sam, Daniel Prevost, Thomas Juanette (Nina, Prometheus) and Alica Del Sol (Sam, Here It All Begins) round out the cast of Mademoiselle Holmes, which will be shot in London and Pay de la Loire in the region, especially in Nantes.

As ever, after the great success of HPI, which will soon return for the long-awaited 3rd season, TF1 seems to be betting on detective fiction, tinged with comedy, to renew its offer (after Balthazar, Ali Never or Research. section).

As evidenced by this new project inspired by Sherlock Holmes, also Daron with Didier Bourdon, Mercato Arnaud Ducret and Manon Azem, or Le Négociateur, carried by François-Xavier Demaison.

Lola Devaer, for her part, is not idle, despite the completion of the “Crime à…” collection, as she recently produced the fourth season of Astrid and Raphael, which will be released in the coming weeks or months. on France 2 and will be in the credits of the TV movie Le Village des endormis in France 3 on March 21 with Aurélien Wiik.
