minesLee Isaac Chung is in the director’s chair for the new film, which, if it stays true to last year’s reporting, will focus on the daughter of Helen Hunt’s Jo Harding and Bill Paxton’s Bill Harding from the original. Hopefully Hunt (Paxton, of course, sadly no longer with us) will make an appearance as her.
Edgar-Jones’ casting has us thinking it’s going to happen, con the ghostis Mark L. Smith in the scripting service. Steven Spielberg brought it forward, with a rare co-production deal between Universal and Warner Bros.
Hopefully, it should hit theaters around July 2024.
