Keanu Reeves’ professionalism in “John Wick 4” includes helping the production crew by carrying things on set and also doing fight scenes and filming, even though he is close to 60 years old.
The 58-year-old Canadian actor is currently one of the biggest action stars in cinema with the ‘John Wick’ saga, and one of the things that made the films a hit was the amazing danger sequences.
Just like Tom Cruise who is known for performing his own “behemoths”, Reeves from the first “John Wick” movie has undergone intense weapons and martial arts training to do his scenes.

Keanu Reeves and his brutal training for “John Wick 4”
The film “John Wick: Chapter 4” is the longest in the saga and also the one with the most action scenes, so the physical demand on Keanu Reeves was the highest he has ever been in his career.
Reeves had to train for more than 3 months to learn the choreography, become an expert in all types of firearms, learn fighting techniques like kung-fu and drive cars and motorcycles like a pro.
As proof of this, Lionsgate shared on its official TikTok account a video of the brutal training that leaves Keanu exhausted and is only intended for the filming of a scene for the film.

The video shows Reeves training with stuntmen for the scene where John Wick tries to escape from the Continental Hotel in Osaka, but encounters a series of assassins.
In the series, John skillfully uses nunchakus to strike his enemies at close range, knocking them out, disarming them, and obliterating them. But as seen in the video, the choreography was physically demanding.
‘John Wick 4’: Keanu Reeves did 90% of his risky scenes
All of Reeves’ training really shows in the film, as the actor told Entertainment Tonight on March 22 that he did 90 percent of his stunts in “John Wick 4.”
The “Point Break” actor (film you can see on ViX) is guided by Patrick Murphy, an industry expert who has made sure that Reeves is in optimal physical condition so that he can do his scenes without getting hurt .
In an interview with GQ magazine on March 24, 2023, Murphy commented that Reeves’ dedication and energy is what allows him to do action scenes that even young actors would find exhausting.
Unlike actors who go through the “Marvel phenomenon” by building big muscles and playing a superhero, John Wick is a fast killer, so Reeves had to train more stamina.
