Vini Jr testifies to justice in the case of racism in La Liga


The Brazilian says he is offended by what happened and does not give up the punishment

The local newspaper “Ultima Hora” reported that Vini, during the conversation, said he hadn’t heard the insults during the match, but had seen the images broadcast by “DAZN”. The recordings showed a 20-year-old Pirates fan calling the Brazilian a “monkey”. Vinícius said he felt shocked by the racist insult and did not want to give up the punishments against the Mallorca fan.

The same fan had already been punished for other racist offences against the Nigerian striker Samuel Chukwueze, of Villarreal, and is banned for three years at the Mallorca stadium. Furthermore, the fan was also fined 4,000 euros.

This incident with Vini Jr is part of a series of eight allegations made by La Liga’s management on racial grounds against the Real Madrid number 20. fans of barcelonaReal Betis, Osasuna, Madrid athletics and Real Valladolid were the others who used offenses against the star.
