So far so good on Netflix: Who is Paola Locatelli, series announcement?

Nineteen years old, two million followers on the Instagram social network and a new career that has opened up for him in recent months. Paola Locatelli is the poster girl for the Netflix series So Far, where she plays Lina. The latter is the niece of Farah (Nauel Madani) and like her mother and aunts, she finds herself in the crosshairs of a dangerous drug trade.

If her name means anything to you, it’s because before you go behind the camera to play, Paola Locatelli is a content creator. He opened his YouTube channel at the age of 12. Six years later, the young woman aspires to something else: comedy. He is also attracted to the cameras very early: at the age of 7 he is chosen for a campaign Doll advertisement.

2022, the year when everything changes

And she can count on Netflix to help her new career: being an actress. She has been picked up by the streaming platform to star in the blue-white-red remake of Choderlos de Laclos’ novel Les Liaisons dangeureuses. She plays Selene, a sweet and thoughtful young girl who is seduced by the seductive Tristan (Simon Reroll). The film was released in July 2022, but absolutely did not convince the audience (1.3/5 on AlloCiné file), who emphasized the poverty of the script and acting.

But that doesn’t make Netflix happy, which seems to want to bet on its new actor. Since it is in another production of the platform – this time in a series – Paola Locatelli distinguishes herself. So far so good, the young woman steals the show from the rest of the cast. She plays Lina, a sweet but determined 17-year-old girl who brings a lot of innovation to the series.

Previously, the young woman was also on the poster of Chair Tendre (France.TV Slash), a rare series about an intersex character. A program that won an award in the French competition category at the Serie Mania festival in Lille. A year later, the actress walked the purple carpet of the city to represent this time so well.
