Netflix has canceled the spin-off of ‘On my block’, ‘Freeridge’, after a single season on the platformas reported Variety.
It seems that the teen comedy has not worked as well as its predecessor. After four seasons, ‘On my block’ came to an end and left behind ‘Freeridge’ to continue exploring new adventures, led by a most entertaining youth band. However, the eight episodes of the new series, seem not to have captured the attention of the publicjust as Netflix expected.
‘Freeridge’ arrived on the platform on February 2, describing the series as “a teen comedy starring two sisters, Gloria and Inés, and their friends, Demi and Cameron, responsible for releasing a curse that has brought misfortune back to their lives.”
In the cast we find Keyla Monterroso Mejiain the skin of Gloria. Bryana Salaz (Agnes), Tenzing Norgay Trainor (Cameron), Ciara Riley Wilson (Demi) and Peggy Blow (Mariluna).
In addition, other interpreters such as Michael Solomon, Zaire Adams, JR Villarreal, Jean Paul San Pedro, Paula Garcés, Eric Gutierrez, Eme Ikwuakor and Raushanah Simmons They have also appeared in the series reprising their roles from ‘On my Block’.
