A Netflix confirmed that it intends to invest even more in Brazilian productions and, on Wednesday 12, announced the production of the first Brazilian melodrama of the platform, A part of me. Created by Angela Chaves and directed by Maurice Fariasthe production will have the actors Giuliana Pees AND Vladimir Brichta in leading roles.
The announcement was made during the Rio2Can event focused on the news of the cultural sector in Rio de Janeiro. According to the platform, registrations start in May.
In the story, Juliana will play Liana, a woman who dreams of becoming a mother. The protagonist ends up “having her trajectory crossed by events of great dramatic force”, which has consequences for her marriage to Tomás, played by Brichta.

Netflix has confirmed season 3 of Good morning Veronica and the reality presented by Fernanda Souza
During the event, Netflix also took the opportunity to announce further news for Brazilian productions. Among the highlights is the confirmation of the third season of the series Good morning Veronica and a new reality show hosted by Fernanda Souza, Islanders with mother-in-law.
hero Taina Müller, Good morning Veronica follows the story of a police officer to discuss topics such as abusive relationships, rape and corruption. The series was created and adapted for TV by Raffaele Montesbased on the work of Raphael and Ilana Casoy.
Islanders with mother-in-law will bring six couples in a dispute for a final cash prize. Sons will leave the competition, while daughters-in-law and sons-in-law will be surprised by the mission of reaching the final with their mothers-in-law. The duo that demonstrates greater harmony and resilience will win the competition.
