The Bottom of the Sea is finished, but still has a pool. The desérticas put on a show of sisterhood celebrating all four members of the group Deserto, together since March 23 with Larissa’s recap, from the Top 11 of “BBB 23” to the Top 5. They were elated after the transition of Larissa and Amanda through the tight wall on Tuesday (18/4), which felt like a final. Even the sullen Ricardo Alface was embraced and received declarations of love from his sisters to cheer him up on the wall with one of them, Larissa Santos.
What a change. The atmosphere of intrigue and hatred that existed in the program is gone. It was a light and loving atmosphere that made even the youngest brother smile and play, as he did in the days when he too was a desert.
The love was shared mostly between the sisters, Amanda, Larissa, Bruna and Aline, who hugged, laughed, screamed and dived fully dressed into the pool, calling Alface to join the party. They sang MC Guimê, Legião Urbana and the show’s theme song in the water, while Alface’s food caught fire on the stove.
When it was just the four of them, they showered Larissa with praise and positive energy to tackle her second consecutive block, holding on until the rain started to fall, cheering for the Top 5 to become a deserted Top 4.
But the most important conversation occurred in the living room, just after the show ended, when the four of them sat down on the floor and Amanda said, “May more women out there see that we can always be united, they don’t need to shrink to affair…”
The speech basically translated the sentiment of the fans, who gave hours of sleep, cramps, fatigue and their spontaneous dedication for the quartet to reach the Top 5, against all the hate fired from gossip pages and commentators of false social commitment. One lanky, one who talks badly, another who screams profanity and a black mother. The Deserto Women’s Union is the most powerful image of this BBB.
