5 million admission: 3rd film for this comedy that “broke the name”?

Tang hit the screens in 2001 and quickly became a cult film for an entire generation. The comedy made such an impression that the first name Tang entered the common language to denote an eternal teenager who never left the family cocoon.

Directed by Etienne Chatiles, for whom it’s a pleasure to spoil one’s name, the feature film attracted 4.3 million viewers. 18 years later, a sequel was born, still run by Andre Dusollier, Sabine Azema and Eric Berger. This second episode did not achieve the same performance as the first one, but still gathered 1 million curious people.
