AKA is a project that is not new. It was conceived more than fifteen years ago by its director, Morgan S. Dalibert and his lead actor – who co-wrote the screenplay – Alban Lenoir. Today it is a 120-minute film with a fast-paced plot and plenty of impressive action scenes.

When the series project failed, Morgan S. Dalibert and Alban Lenoir decided to reimagine it as a feature film, but that didn’t make things any easier. AKA was subsequently put in a drawer. It was the significant success of Lost Ball and its sequels that allowed this feature film to see the light of day with the help of Netflix.
