Major Wall Street indexes opened lower on Tuesday after US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said the US government could run out of cash within a month as investors await a decision on monetary policy from the Federal Reserve.
The Dow fell 0.10% to open at 34,017.62 points.
The S&P 500 opened down 0.09% to 4,164.10 points, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.12% to 12,198.02 points on the open.
