Mariana is busy

While Karim and Sarah wonder what the amnesiac teenager could have been up to, Marian examines the young man and reassures him: his neurological exam is excellent. So she thinks her amnesia is psychological. She prompts him to try to remember what happened, assuming that his family must be crazy somewhere. But Chloe intervenes and asks her mother not to pressure her protector.

Marianne then informs her patient that she has notified social services and that she will go home until her memory returns. Infuriated, Chloe reassures the teenager and promises that this will not happen. He then asks to speak to his mother in private and admits that he doesn’t understand why she is so insensitive.

Chloe gets the impression that Mariana is trying to keep the teenager away from her and trying to find out what her mother is hiding. Mariana seems not to see what she is talking about and advises her to rest. A furious Chloe confirms to him that the police are looking for the old car that was involved in the accident. His identical car. He adds that he went to see him the night before and saw scratches on the car.

Mariana can’t imagine that her own daughter is suspicious of her and may consider her guilty of a hit and run. He reminds her that as a doctor he took an oath and his role is to help the wounded. Chloe apologizes, realizing she went too far. But he still has a feeling that his mother is hiding something.

At the police station, Georges finally has a lead: the mechanic informs him that one of his clients crashed his vintage car last Friday. This is Marianne Delcourt.

Meanwhile, Chloe confides in Rafael her suspicions about her mother and Friday’s accident. Camille overhears their conversation and reveals to Chloe that she ran into Mariana on Friday. It was going at high speed on the way to Mont-Saint-Clair. Chloe is upset. Marian swore she was on duty that evening. He realizes that he cheated.

While Damien analyzes the readings from his car, Mariana is interrogated by Karim. Dr. Delcourt explains to his former stepmother that he was driving fast the night of the accident because he didn’t want to be late for the hospital call. Not far from Mont-Saint-Clair, he passed a black car parked in the middle of the road and managed to narrowly avoid it. But wanting to be around him, he hung a sign with his car.

Mariana claims that she barely saw the face of the driver of the black car. Karim is surprised that he didn’t relate what happened to the amnesiac teenager, but Mariana reminds him that they’re underwater in the hospital and have a lot of admissions every day.

While everyone worries about her absence from the hospital, Mariana’s condition worsens. His car’s paint matched that found at the scene. Therefore, Karim is obliged to arrest him in the police.

At the end of the evening, Rafael, informed by Chloe, tells his father that Mariana is in the police. She explains to him that she is suspected of shooting down an amnesiac teenager who was found at the foot of Mont-Saint-Clair. But Sebastian assures his daughter that this is impossible. Indeed, on the night of the accident, Mariana was with him.

Bart and Adele finally kiss!

Roxanne doesn’t understand why Bart is getting messages and photos from Adele. Spoon’s manager then explains to him that he hid the item with the young artist and that he was challenged to find it, without further clues. Hoping to find a suitable object, Adele sends him photos of everything she finds in her apartment, which looks more like a clearance store than a living space according to Bart.

Later that day, Adele calls Bart to tell him that she found the letter he left her. A word to which Bart gives her a date that same day at 6pm in a city alley. Bart doesn’t see what Adele is talking about, but he doesn’t deny it. After hanging up, Bart explains the situation to Roxanne. He thinks the note was actually written by Adele’s ex. He doesn’t know what to do, but Roxanne advises him to take a chance and go to this meeting instead of Alvered. Problem: Bart forgot the name of the alley Adele told him about.

With Roxanne’s help, Bart, who remembers that the alley had a funny animal name, finally remembers that Adele has an appointment at the alley du beetle. He decides to buy Adele a present before going there, Bart wastes no time and leaves a spoon.

When he finally finds Adele at the meeting place, Bart gives her a brooch in the shape of a beetle. A young woman decides to immortalize this moment with a selfie. He then asks Bart to close his eyes and kisses him. And the young man ends up kissing her back.

Stefan takes revenge on Noor and Gabriel

Thanks to a neighbor’s dashcam footage, Stephanie eventually discovers that Gabrielle and Noor made up the whole story of the theft to hide the fact that they were the source of the broken lamp. He can’t believe it and admits to Soraya that he thinks their behavior is extremely stupid. Especially since he was very attached to this lamp, which was his graduation present and had real sentimental value in his eyes. Soraya offers to tell Noor about it, but Stefan has an idea for revenge.

Returning to the neighborhood, Stefanie and Soraya make Gabriel and Noor believe that the police have caught the thieves and they risk a lot. Gabriel and Noor do not go wide. They cannot let innocent people go to jail. Stephen’s Machiavellian plan worked. The latter then suggests that they watch a series called “Theft of Broken Arms” and Noor and Gabriel quickly realize that it is actually CCTV footage and that they have been caught at their own game.

Stephen points out to them that they behaved like children. But Gabriel and Noor reply that they can no longer accept his moral lessons.
