‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ breaks the runtime record

The successor to the 2018 animation on the Spider-Verse is not yet released, but has already achieved historical records. “Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse” will last 2h20, becoming the longest animation in the world, beating the record of “Consuming Spirits”, released in 2012.

The animation about the Spider-Man universe follows the line of long-term film investments, although it is something innovative in terms of animated films. Other recent releases like ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and ‘Avatar: The Path of Water’ are examples of feature films that are over 2 hours long.

A recently released trailer for the second film in the series has been revealed by Sony Pictures. In it it is possible to catch several references to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Watch the dubbed version:

The trailer reveals scenes featuring variants of Spider-Man across the Multiverse. In addition, the cast from the first film will also be present in the sequel, including Shameik Moore, who voices Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Gwen Stacy, and Jake Johnson as the original Peter Parker.

“Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse” will be released in Brazil on June 1st.
