A Toyota Yaris car caught fire after hitting a pig on BR-386, in Pouso Novo, Taquari Valley, on the night of this Friday (5). According to the Federal Traffic Police (Prf), the accident occurred around 9 pm, at km 304 of the motorway, in the Capitale-Interno direction.
Due to the collision, the highway was blocked in both directions for about an hour to put out the flames. According to the PRF, it was pouring with rain at the time of the accident.
The PRF reported that the vehicle had license plates from Passo Fundo, north of RS, and was occupied by two women. Despite the scare, no one was injured.
Traffic was cleared around 10pm.
