“My character was supposed to be pretty sexy, and I decided not to audition. I am very embarrassed when it comes to interpreting something sexy, I can’t,“explained the interpreter, who did not specify for which character in the series she had been a candidate.
“And all of a sudden you came out and said, ‘Well, I’m not going to do any more sex scenes,’” recalled the actress, referring to the actor’s statements about limiting his sexual scenes in the series.
“I kept thinking: ‘I didn’t even know that this was a limit that we could put.’ But then I said, ‘I should have gone and done the damn series,” Jamil continued.

“What he was talking about was not the end result,” commented the former member of ‘Gossip Girl’ in an interview with GQ. “He was talking about the culture inherent in the production of all movies, and those scenes in particular. We all know that Hollywood has a history of exploitation and abuse.”
Talking with Variety On the same subject, the actor added: “That aspect of Hollywood has always been disturbing to me. That aspect of my job has always been something I don’t want to mess with at all.”
