On the 10th anniversary of actor Paul Walker’s death, one of his character Brian O’Conner’s most iconic vehicles in the franchise Fast & Furious it was auctioned off.
The famous blue 2000 Nissan Skyline GT-R sold for a staggering $1,357,000.
It is surprising to compare the value achieved by the model at auction with the price of a new and unused Japanese sports car in foreign markets, as the amount raised was around 10 times higher.
The vehicle that shone Fast and furious 4, released in 2009, was customized to Paul Walker’s preferences. It has a custom cage, dash computer, and sport seats, and the driver’s seat remains in the actor-adjusted position to this day.
Another request made by the actor was that all body stickers and decals be removed, while keeping the original Bayside Blue Skyline paint intact. Under the bonnet is a 2.6-litre twin-turbo petrol engine, upgraded with a Turbonetics intercooler for improved performance. Before being auctioned, the car was on display for a few years in a museum.

You may be wondering how this sports car survived the intense action scenes, full of gunfire, collisions and explosions, to which it was subjected.
Six stuntmen of the Skyline were used during filming, which were GT and GT-T versions with their bodies mounted on a buggy chassis, allowing vehicle jump scenes to be performed.
The rich man who bought the Nissan also received a very unusual and exclusive gift: a copy of the lease agreement made out to Universal Pictures, producer of the film saga.

Additionally, Charlize Theron will return as the villainous Cipher.
